Ok docs... Learn the sandwich technique.
Teachers, team leaders and parents all know the value of gathering bad between good when delivering results.
Instead of starting the sentence with, "Your bone density scan showed osteopenia", I would say...
"The ligaments around your elbows are the most fabulous ligaments I've ever seen. Look at the shape of your ear canals...perfect specimens of the human race!"
Then start the depressing stuff....
Come on Doctors of the world! We, your patients, often need the same encouragement as first graders learning to read.
